Reporting to the Leader, LIXIL Global Design and Brand Identity, Executive Vice President, LIXIL is looking for a talented and creative Brand Identity Leader to help define the brand experience for its entire portfolio.

About the Role

LIXIL Corporation is looking for a talented and creative Brand Identity Leader to help define the global brand experience across the entire portfolio of brands.

Scope of the Role

  • Define the brand experience for the entire portfolio of brands, which include market leaders in the premium sanitary industry such as GROHE, INAX, DXV and American Standard
  • Working alongside the global design team and with global stakeholders, lead by doing and have a unique opportunity to construct a team around them and establish a successful Global Brand Identity group
  • Work with the team and independently across all areas of the global business, including brand governance, guidelines and pyramids and most importantly brand purpose
  • Be an ambassador of the three core LIXIL Behaviors “Do the Right Thing”, “Work with Respect” and “Experiment and Learn”

Key Accountabilities

This is a global role with a strategic mandate that also requires a hands-on approach when needed, which will involve extensive global travel, working closely with regional Design Leaders and Marketing Teams. Role accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Brand Governance & Guidelines
  • Brand Identity & Purpose
  • Creative Direction: provide creative direction for packaging, trade shows, digital and communications
  • Continuous Improvement: drive continual improvement and optimization of brand strategy guidelines
  • Brand consistency

Technical Skills

  • Uncover brand and consumer insights to inform creative direction and help the businesses connect with people in meaningful ways
  • Demonstrates a high level of creativity and innovation, with the ability to understand and translate complex challenges into elegant and smart solutions
  • An ability to balance creative and intuitive thought processes with analytical and logical decision making
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Expertise Experience

  • Proven track record of translating insights, identifying opportunities, building value propositions and defining innovation processes and strategies
  • Ideally come from a process background with proven experience in durables
