Your tasks:
- Leading the sanitary fittings, flushing and installation systems development team at two german locations (Hemer and Porta Westfalica)
- Coordinate developments with the marketing, product management, production, purchasing and quality departments
- Realize product developments considering manufacturing and economic constraints
- Proactively identify and drive innovations to a pre-serial status
- Employee management and development
- Cooperate with different global sites within the Lixil Group
- Manage timing, cost and quality with global suppliers
- Plan, control and implement work packages along the product development process
- Monitor and control target deadlines as well as identify risks and solution options
- Act in a cost-conscious manner and ensure that cost targets are achieved
- Going the extra mile by contributing to global projects like component reduction, cost improvements and process harmonization
Our requirements for you:
- You have a university degree in a technical field of study ideally with a focus on mechanical engineering, design engineering, plastics technology or a comparable field of study
- You have already gained several years of experience in product development, design engineering and project management
- Several years of professional experience in the disciplinary management of a team
- Good knowledge in MS-Office, SAP as well as knowledge in 2D-/3D- construction systems
- Organizational and communication skills and a keen interest in products
- Structured way of working as well as a high degree of self-motivation and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
