Purpose:
Responsible for assisting in the design, implementation and drive improvements to LIXIL global infrastructure, including cloud network, office applications, data center operation, and also tele communication.
Main Responsibilities:
- Assist with the design, implementation, and maintenance of any infrastructure aspects, including server operation, network operation, ID management, corporate IT tools, company standard devices, and data center actives.
- Monitor infra performance, diagnose issues, and take corrective actions as directed by Senior Infrastructure Engineers.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve IT infrastructure-related issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Assist in maintaining comprehensive infrastructure documentation, including technical system diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Support the deployment of new standard hardware, software, and services, under the guidance of Senior Infrastructure Engineers.
- Stay current with the latest IT technologies and best practices to enhance performance, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with vendors and partners to evaluate, test, and deploy new solutions as needed.
- Assist with any IT security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control.
- Serve as a point of escalation for infrastructure Services operations and implementation activities for regional operation team.
- Develop new telecommunication sites, prepare specifications, drawings, and procedures for the use of telecommunications equipment, and decide on the type and arrangement of transformers, circuits, transmission lines, equipment, and circuit-breakers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Foundational knowledge of infrastructure technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot basic network issues.
- Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
