Your tasks:

  • International purchasing of assemblies and components;
  • Selection of suppliers, preparation and execution of contract negotiations as well as awarding and processing of supplier agreements;
  • Ensuring supplier performance within budget and deadlines;
  • Sub-project management with regard to cost optimization and complexity reduction;
  • Active participation in the GROHE product development process to achieve cost targets and deadlines;
  • Observation and analysis of procurement markets as well as technology and price trends;
  • Optimization of supply strategies, processes and tools in purchasing, taking into account quality, costs and time (QCT);
  • Coordination between project and series purchasing;
  • Cost and price monitoring by tracking target costs;
  • Start-up coordination regarding the availability of materials;
  • Monitoring of tool and initial sample schedules;
  • Maintenance of project documents;
  • Knowledge of material and surcharge calculation.

Your profile:      

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or business administration;
  • Professional experience in purchasing, preferably in project purchasing;
  • Negotiation skills, communication skills and a confident demeanor;
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products and knowledge of SAP (e.g. R/3 an advantage);
  • Very good business fluent English skills;
  • At best, you have knowledge in the field of electronics/plastics technology/tool procurement and have technical expertise.
