Purpose:
We are looking for a person with extensive experience in the field of Record-to-Report / General Ledger Accounting to support our Finance Center of Excellence Team in the LIXIL EMENA Region. You will be part of the EMENA Financial Shared Service Organization (FSSC) and act as business partner with multilateral relationships to other functional departments as well as steering and monitoring the operational tasks covered by an external BPO for accounting.
Hands-on mentality as well as process and project know-how are desired for managing the optimization and harmonization initiatives within the organization. Supporting and taking over entity responsibilities for regular financial reporting and closing are key responsibilities in the regular business environment as well as providing support across all EMENA entities for relevant RTR topics.
Main Role/ Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the following areas:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS and HGB;
- Manages subsidiaries financial accounting activities in the General Ledger area in the Center of Excellence Organizations within FSSC EMENA region;
- Consolidation and centralization of the Finance function in EMENA, including expansion of the outsourcing scope;
- Steering, performance monitoring and support of the external service provider Accenture;
- Supporting in projects for process optimization and harmonization for relevant RTR topics in the EMANA region;
- Close cooperation with Human Resources, Controlling and the internal and external auditors;
- Coordination between other finance functions ( RTR, OTC and PTP) during regular closing activities and ensure successful and compliant external reporting for both local and group reporting package.
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Accounting;
- Experience in working in a Financial Shared Service Center organization (desired);
- Strong command of English;
- Good communication/facilitation skills;
- Knowledge of SAP FI/CO is desirable.
