LIXIL Global Design the award winning in-house design team for LIXIL, a global leader in the bath, kitchen and housing technology industry, with studios in some of the most cosmopolitan and culturally diverse cities in the world such as Tokyo, London, Singapore, Shanghai, Düsseldorf, and New York, is looking to expand it’s team in London-Richmond, beside the river Thames.
LIXIL Global Design is looking for a creative and strategic mind to own and lead our social media presence and drive and execute our overall internal and external communications strategy. This role is based in London and will report directly to the Chief Design and Brand Identity Officer, working within a creative environment with the global design and brand identity teams.
As the Senior Social Media / Communications Manager for LIXIL Global Design, you will be responsible for propelling our social media and communications strategy to new levels, through generating written and visual content, owning the social media strategy across all platforms (primarily Instagram), and providing metrics driven analysis and solutions.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Media / Communications Manager to foster meaningful social interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and lead our social media and communications strategy across all platforms, from ideation to execution.
- Create, curate, and manage high quality, consistent, and engaging content – text, images, infographics, video’s, reels, podcasts etc.
- Campaign management - plan and execute social media campaigns, from concept to post-campaign analysis, for example competitions.
- Brand consistency - ensure all content aligns with our guidelines and tone of voice.
- Build relationships across our global design and brand identity team and cross functional counterparts.
- Community management – engage directly with followers, responding to comments, messages and building a community for external (primarily Instagram) and internal global platforms.
- Analytics and reporting - regularly analyze social media metrics and prepare reports to track performance against key objectives.
- Keeping abreast with market developments and products including important changes to social media algorithms.
- Identify, collaborate with and manage relationships with influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.
- Develop and manage a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule and timely promotions.
- Activate our global events and exhibitions such as Milan Salone, WAF, ISH.
Skills & Experience:
- 3-5 years proven experience as a social media and communications manger or similar role.
- Excellent understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
- Budget management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to generate and execute ideas.
