Purpose: 

Provide first and second level assistance to users. Install and configure hardware and software in accordance with established procedures.

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • 2nd level support as part of user support and VIP support;
  • Support with site-related IT projects;
  • Coordination of external service providers;
  • Organisation of cross-location meetings, telephone and video conferences;
  • Repair and replace broken hardware;
  • Test and evaluate new technologies, hardware and software;
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software;
  • Ensure and optimize network performance;
  • Support IT at the plant;
  • Provide training to users on how to use and maintain computer equipment.

 

Job Requirements: 

  • Degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Portuguese and English;
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
