We are looking for a motivated and proactive Business Controller to join our Finance team in Hungary. The position is advertised as a fixed-term contract for 2 years. If you want to build your career in an international and challenging environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

The following tasks are waiting for you:

  • Secure financial control in order to ensure compliance with Grohe requirements yearly and local needs, rules and legislations.
  • Actively participate and support in the development and implementation of the budget /monthly rolling estimates, in order to secure that the financial objectives are met.
  • Analyze and act on financial information (in conjunction with the Leader of the market) in order to initiate and take corrective actions to meet financial objectives.
  • To carry out all month closure processes in a timely and efficient manner to ensure that HQ reporting deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and distribute management reports monthly showing actual cost v budget and variance analysis to the management team.
  • Provide support to the Leader of Finance to ensure that financial analysis is relevant, accurate and timely to facilitate accurate decision-making.
  • Liaise with cost center managers on a monthly basis and acting upon any variances to maintain good budget control.
  • Report on the weekly/monthly sales to the management team so that up to date information is available to facilitate accurate decision-making.
  • Provide support to the accounts payable to ensure that support is maintained.
  • To assist Market Leader and Financial Leader with any ad-hoc projects and analysis.

Our requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in the field of Finance.
  • Bachelor of Finance or Economics.
  • Knowledge of the local legislation, regulations and taxation system.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking.
  • General knowledge of market business.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Google Sheets is advantage.
  • SAP knowledge is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.
