We are currently recruiting for a Market Research Manager Lixil Europe to join our Commercial Sales Execution Department. The role will cover Europe and report directly to Leader Commercial Sales Execution.

Main roles and responsibilities:

Market Development, Modeling & Forecasting:

  • Analyze and update global and regional market outlooks using sources such as IMF Global Economic Outlook, IHS Global Construction Outlook, Euroconstruct, BRG WTM etc.
  • Provide market forecasting and modelling for business units, global product COEs and commercial markets based on external data.
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests for market insights from business stakeholders.

Market data integration for better performance understanding and management:

  • Building process of Sell OUT data collection from Direct Customers.
  • Set up simulations of Sell IN / Sell OUT / Stock for better market performance understanding.

Competitive Intelligence:

  • Monitor and report on competitor financial performance and daily news using tools like LexisNexis and Medienspiegels.
  • Conduct ad-hoc research to deliver timely competitor insights.

Financial Reporting to assess market shares development:

  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting, including collaboration with external auditors.
  • Participate in yearly impairment discussions and quarterly review preparation.

 You should have the following qualifications:

  • Experience in a market and competition analysis role within a multinational manufacturing organization.
  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research methods, including surveys and data mining.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills to present findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders in English.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to generate actionable insights.
  • Skills in data visualisation tools to present findings in a clear and impactful manner.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix organisational structure.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues and develop strategic solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and accuracy in analyzing and reporting data.
