The HRBP Netherlands will manage, coordinate and implement the LIXIL People Strategy across a diverse group of Commercial functions and leaders in our core market Netherlands and also, have the opportunity to become part of an industry leader in its business area. 
 
The role will provide proactive and day-to-day HR support for the business and contribute to enhancing the policies and processes to enhance the quality of service and employee experience. 
 

Your responsibilities:

  • Manage all related operational HR activities and administration and provide creative and flexible HR solutions to support business growth whilst balancing the local and functional priorities: eg. updating and maintaining RPZ (employee handbook), contract preparation and administration etc.
  • Provide coaching and advisory support to leaders on people and employee relations matters, internal policy, and legislative issues ensuring a flexible but consistent approach is maintained across the business
  • Fostering a Diverse Workplace: Actively engage with teams to promote an inclusive environment, addressing potential biases in hiring, promotions, and day-to-day operations
  • Identify and Elevate Local Talent: Work closely with leaders to identify key talent and critical roles and ensure individual development and career pathing that align with both individual goals and the broader enterprise talent strategy
  • Succession Planning: Help implement succession planning at the local level, ensuring a pipeline of leadership-ready talent
  • Implement performance management processes and concepts according to LIXIL standards
  • Employee Engagement: be a driving force to ensure leaders own and follow up on LIXIL Voice results and action plans seeking to continuously improve the workplace
  • Drive initiatives that enhance work-life balance, mental health, and wellness programs specific to the local context
  • Onboarding & Offboarding: Ensure smooth and engaging onboarding and offboarding processes that reflect global standards and are tailored to local requirements
  • Ensure local HR practices adhere to both local legal regulations and global corporate governance standards. Eg. in areas of data privacy, labour laws and ethical business practices
  • Audit & Reporting: Maintain accurate and transparent HR records, contributing to internal audits and ensuring full alignment with global compliance requirements, ensuring data accuracy and quality in global HRIS Success Factors
  • Payroll + Total rewards: monthly payroll preparation, pension scheme administration, annual STI & merit processes, aligning on market data and offer proposals for new hires and promotions with central TR team, regularly reviewing local benefits, eg. health insurance & pension providers

 

Your profile:

Qualifications and Education:

  • Must be the holder of a university degree in HR, business admin, legal or psychology studies
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills, particularly in influencing upwards with senior line managers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential 
  • Proven ability to listen, advise, and counsel at all levels
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
  • Previous experience with Payroll and Dutch pension schemes preferred, knowledge of Visma payroll system desirable but not essential
  • Previous Success Factors experience is desirable
  • Hand-son mentality and approach and ability to balance the stretch between transactional day-to day tasks and strategic business partnering support 
Experience:
  • Seasoned HR professional with 5+ years’experience, with increased accountability and experience of delivery of HR consultancy to business management
  • Preferably previous experience as HR professional in the Netherlands 
  • Location: Zoetermeer, Netherlands
  • Professional knowledge of change management, organizational development, talent management, job descriptions, job evaluations, HR systems, and competency-based interviewing techniques
  • Ability to energize and inspire the team to implement innovative solutions
  • Experience to maintain and develop a HR handbook
