UX/UI Expert / Lead (m/f/d)

As a UX/UI Lead within the Digital department, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping GROHE’s digital transformation by driving the evolution of our digital platforms. ! Please note that this is a fixed term (2 years ) contract.

Your Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • You have a direct reporting line to the Leader IT / Digital Systems-of-Engagement
  • You are the Owner for UX/UI for our Digital Engagement Platforms and leading agile development teams
  • Lead and mentor agile development teams, fostering collaboration and driving innovative design solutions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align user interface designs with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and refine design decisions based on feedback
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency across digital platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance platform usability.
  • Drive a user-centric approach by advocating for the needs of end-users throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Measure and analyze the performance of UX/UI solutions, using data to guide continuous improvement efforts

Your Profile & Skills:

  • Educational Background: Degree in UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related field.
  • Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design for digital enterprise solutions, with a strong track record of leading and managing agile teams to deliver user-centered designs.
  • Design Expertise: Proficient in modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Storybook, Sketch) and experienced in creating and maintaining design systems and wireframes.
  • User-Centered Mindset: Deep understanding of user research methodologies, usability testing, and how to translate insights into effective designs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with stakeholders, developers, and business teams to align UX/UI solutions with strategic goals.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong solution-oriented approach with a structured and organized working style to address complex challenges effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively with service providers and stakeholders.
  • Growth Mindset: Curious, self-motivated, and committed to staying ahead in the rapidly evolving field of digital design and technology.
  • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and an understanding of their impact on design feasibility is a plus.
