Supply Chain Specialist Nordic & Baltic

LIXIL is looking for a strong specialist who can take charge of the daily operational tasks for our Supply Chain department covering the Nordic and Baltic region.

As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be in the heart of the daily operations where solving challenges is the key to success. Furthermore, you will take the lead in delivering a great customer experience by establishing and maintaining strong relations with customers and internal stakeholders. In this role you will be a key player to inspire collaboration within our region and towards your peers in HQ with the goal of further improving processes and customer satisfaction.

About the role:

You will be part of the Operations team which consists of 12 people located across 3 countries, and
you will report to Leader, Operations Nordic & Baltic. You collaborate with colleagues from all our
departments to provide our customers with the best service and solutions. You work daily as a
problem solver and support our customers and internal stakeholders via phone and email. More
specifically, it involves days with a lot of coordination across different teams and priorities.

Your primary tasks:

Support:

  • Push for high customer satisfaction (internal & external)
  • E-mails answered with-in a given SLA
  • Maintain a high level of support with-in the teams
  • Checking product availability and carry out availability request
  • Act as the Supply Chain liaison for the region’s key customers, leading the resolution of both
    structural and spot issues.
  • Coordinate and support customer projects and campaigns together with the sales and
    project team
  • Coordinate special transportation when required both inside and outside EU
  • Handling of transportation claims

Collaboration:

  • Harmonize and inspire collaboration across Nordic & Baltic region and other stakeholders
  • Work together with key customers set up for Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)
  • Coordinate with external suppliers by placing purchase orders and follow-up on deliveries

Warehouse Management:

  • Supply balancing, safety stock, Inventory control, excess & obsolete stock management.
  • Handle and follow up on returns from customers and to central warehouses
  • Supporting our 3PL on inbound, outbound, returns, cycle counts etc.

About you:

  • The ideal candidate comes with previous experience from a similar role. Moreover, you must possess a drive for success as your peers do the same. You will get a high level of independency in your daily work and therefore you need to be self-disciplined as well as proactive. Being flexible whilst maintaining a team player-spirit and good communication and analytical skills are necessary to succeed in the role and achieve the ambitious targets that have been set for the Supply Chain team and the organization.

Furthermore, we believe that you:

  • Have experience in operational logistics with an “End 2 End” thinking
  • Have experience working within an ERP system – we use SAP
  • Able to work in a structured and prioritized manner despite many tasks on your plate
  • Have a “Can do” attitude and an “One Team” thinking
  • Have analytical flair and able to translate data into actions
  • Can travel domestic and international (Europe). Limited amount of traveling days
  • Fluent in English on business level
  • Preferably fluent in Danish
  • Preferably knowledge about VMI or stock management processes
  • Knowledge of transportation both in and outside EU is an advantage
