As a Retail Marketing Manager (m/f/d) you will develop and execute industry-leading Merchandising plans, implement new Space Management, with dedicated focus on Retail as a key channel. You should have an entrepreneurial, out-of-the box thinking and business-driven mindset, that will be required to oversee the execution of new Merchandising principles, to consider products, accessories and services as the “total package” and to differentiate GROHE further from competition at the Point of Sale. In this position you are also required to support the promotional GROHE Sales Cycles by detailed planning and execution at the POS and within Retail online-presence.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

  • You will set up world-class Merchandising Plans with a dedicated focus on retail
  • You will define new Space Management Rules: Planograms for all available shelve spaces (S/M/L) and vignettes with the ambition to optimize business for us and our partners
  • Developing and implementation of new Merchandising Principles for products, accessories and services is part of your area of responsibility
  • You will follow a business-driven approach: e.g. 1) sales & profit driven space management solutions 2) cost of opportunity loss in case of stock outs
  • You should think entrepreneurial: Go beyond core products and give guidance for accessory racks, showcasing additional products and create guerilla material at POS
  • You optimize Merchandising Material: Challenge the status quo and bring in best-practices from other industries

You should have the following qualifications:

  • Proven experience in developing and executing Merchandising principles for consumer products at physical (and ideally also digital) as well as POS (ideally FMCG experience)
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail
  • Highly pro-active and solution-oriented mindset
  • Experienced in cross-departmental project management
  • Skilled at prioritization and multi-tasking
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
