The Business Controller will have financial responsibility in Czech and Slovakia markets and the overall task to plan, develop, execute and drive the key financial figures in line with monthly, quarterly, annual targets as well as the overall 5 years strategy of GROHE Group.

Main tasks

  • Business Partnering:

Support business growth through appropriate financial planning and resource allocation; providing accurate and timely management reporting of markets´ performance; ensure adherence to accounting and financial standards, procedures, and policy; achieve efficiency, and set technical standards in the finance function; provide analysis and counsel to management on achieving operating and financial objectives.

Work with management team in identifying critical risks, develop contingency plans which will mitigate risks and support the continued growth and improve profitability.
Implement and support those initiatives.

  • Financial and Fiduciary:

Take responsibility for accurate financial close, controls and internal processes; accurate and timely financial reporting; cash management. Work with external parties i.e. external auditors, tax consultants and legal consultants to ensure corporate and legal compliance, manage and communicate with external accounting companies.

Reporting Line

Business Controller will report to Finance Leader CEE, Lixil EMENA and dotted line to Leader, Czech & Slovakia, LIXIL EMENA.



  • Qualified Accountant or MBA
  • Degree level with strong academic record


  • At least 5 years of experience in multi-national environment and in functions of financial planning, analysis and operations; strong Excel skills; knowledge of SAP an added advantage
  • Ideally at least 3 years FMCG experience with a good mix of marketing and commercial experience
  • Also B2B experiences are very welcome
  • Highly numerate / strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of regional tax and local accounting rules

Tool competencies

  • SAP R3, BW
  • Very good in Excel on Makro programming level, knowledge and execution experience
  • Fluently english
  • Good communication skills
